Dishwasher / Utility Worker

About the Role:

The Dishwasher is responsible for operating the dish machine and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area to support efficient kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing Operations: Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and food service equipment.

• Machine Maintenance: Set up and clean the dish machine area; monitor temperatures and soap dispensing levels.

• Equipment Storage: Properly store clean equipment and utensils.

• Sanitation Support: Assist in maintaining clean and sanitary food preparation and service areas.

• Waste Management: Empty trash and transport waste to the designated disposal area.

• Floor Care: Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.

• Temperature Documentation: Complete all required temperature logs during each shift.

• Order Assistance: Assist with receiving and organizing orders in a timely manner as needed.

• Dress Code & Hygiene: Follow dress code standards and maintain proper personal hygiene.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Certification: State food service certification required, if applicable.

• Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand English; basic technical skills to complete routine tasks.
