Landing at Watermere Frisco is looking for a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our resident care team.
In this role, you’ll do more than administer medication. You’ll get to know our residents, notice changes that may affect their well-being, communicate with the nursing team, and help create a safe and supportive environment where residents feel genuinely cared for.
If you’re someone who takes medication safety seriously while never losing sight of the person behind the medication record, we’d love to meet you.
About the Opportunity
As a Certified Medication Aide, you’ll work closely with licensed nursing staff and the broader resident-care team to safely administer medications, observe resident conditions, support activities of daily living, and maintain accurate documentation.
You’ll play an important role in helping residents feel safe, respected, and supported throughout their day.
What You’ll Own
- Safely administer prescribed medications according to physician orders, state regulations, and community policies
- Accurately document medication administration and maintain required medication records

- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
- Follow infection-control, medication-safety, confidentiality, and resident-rights procedures
- Assist with medication inventory and communicate shortages or discrepancies
- Collaborate closely with LVNs, nursing leadership, caregivers, and other community team members
- Support the orientation and development of new care-team members when appropriate
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time
What Success Looks Like
- Medications are administered safely, accurately, and on schedule
- Documentation is consistently complete and accurate
- Changes in resident condition are noticed and communicated quickly
- Residents are treated with dignity, patience, and respect
- Nursing and care teams communicate effectively across shifts
- The medication-management process remains organized and compliant
- Residents and families feel confident in the care provided by the community
Who This Role Is For

- Ability to work effectively as part of a resident-care team
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the scheduled shift, including weekends or holidays when required
What Sets You Apart
- You pay attention to the details
