We’re looking for a relationship-driven Sales Counselor to support occupancy growth at Watermere at the Highlands by guiding prospective residents and families through the senior living journey with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.

This role is ideal for a strong closer who thrives on follow-up, relationship-building, personalized tours, and converting inquiries into move-ins while delivering an exceptional experience every step of the way.



About the Opportunity

Landing at Watermere Frisco is a luxury independent living community focused on delivering a high-quality lifestyle experience for residents and families. As a Sales Counselor, you will serve as one of the first impressions of the community and play a critical role in driving occupancy, maintaining prospect engagement, and supporting the resident transition process.

This position works closely with community leadership, operations, and resident services teams while managing the full sales cycle from inquiry through move-in. The ideal candidate understands that senior living sales is both highly relational and highly performance-driven.



What You’ll Own

  • Manage the full prospect journey from initial inquiry through signed lease and move-in
  • Conduct personalized community tours for prospective residents and families
  • Respond promptly to phone, email, walk-in, and referral inquiries
  • Maintain accurate guest cards, prospect notes, follow-up activity, and CRM documentation
  • Build trust with seniors and families while identifying needs and overcoming objections
  • Maintain consistent outbound follow-up through calls, emails, thank-you notes, and relationship nurturing
  • Support occupancy and move-in goals through proactive pipeline management
  • Coordinate lease file setup and move-in documentation for Executive Director approval
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners, healthcare professionals, and community organizations
  • Participate in outreach events, networking opportunities, and marketing initiatives
  • Monitor local market conditions, competitor activity, occupancy trends, and pricing updates
  • Conduct and review competitive market surveys to support sales strategy

Who This Role Is For

  • Professionals with 2+ years of successful sales experience
  • Candidates with prior experience in:
    • Senior living

    • Multifamily housing
    • Hospitality
    • Healthcare sales
  • Individuals with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong communicators with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Candidates comfortable working within CRM or lead management systems
  • Professionals who are organized, proactive, and follow-through driven
  • Individuals comfortable working flexible schedules including weekends and occasional evenings
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
