We're looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Porter / Groundskeeper to join our maintenance team at One90 Firewheel.
In this role, you'll help maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of our community while supporting the maintenance team with make-ready activities and daily property operations. About the Opportunity
The Porter / Groundskeeper plays an essential role in creating an exceptional first impression for residents, prospects, and visitors.
From maintaining beautifully landscaped grounds to assisting with apartment turns and common area upkeep, you'll help ensure the community remains clean, safe, and welcoming every day.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and works well as part of a team.
What You’ll Own
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the community
- Pick up trash and debris throughout the property, breezeways, parking areas, and common spaces
- Assist with apartment trash-outs and prepare units for the make-ready process
- Support the maintenance team with general repairs and community projects as assigned
- Clean and maintain the clubhouse, fitness center, laundry rooms, pool areas, and other amenities
- Monitor and maintain dumpster areas to ensure they remain clean and organized
- Assist with landscape maintenance, irrigation, and seasonal property upkeep
- Perform routine inspections of common areas and report maintenance concerns promptly
- Conduct daily pool area inspections and assist with pool maintenance as needed
- Help maintain sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, entrances, and exterior building areas
- Ensure community standards for cleanliness and safety are consistently maintained

- Vacant apartments are prepared efficiently for new residents

Qualifications
- Previous porter, groundskeeper, maintenance, landscaping, janitorial, or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy materials throughout the workday
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Swimming pool maintenance experience preferred
- Pool Operator Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Must be able to safely move dumpsters and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) required
- Valid government-issued identification required
- Reliable transportation required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening
