Concierge, Full-Time
About the Role:
The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and callers at the community’s front reception desk. This role represents the community in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring all inquiries are handled efficiently and directed appropriately.
Responsibilities:
- Visitor Greeting: Welcome all visitors with a warm, professional demeanor. Ensure visitors sign in and notify residents of their arrival as appropriate.
- Community Representation: Promote a positive image of the community and serve as an ambassador to visitors. Provide general information and refer prospective residents and families to the marketing team.
- Phone Management: Answer incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate staff or residents, and maintain logs of emergency and contact numbers.
- Mail & Packages: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Coordinate outgoing mail and ensure proper handling by postal or shipping carriers.
- Administrative Assistance: Assist with monthly resident statements, invoice entry, and accounts payable coding. Support event reservations and mailings as needed.
- Office Support: Order office supplies, assist with resident programs, and maintain community rosters and documentation.
- Emergency Response: Respond to resident emergencies by contacting appropriate internal and external parties in accordance with established protocols. Assist with disaster management and evacuation procedures as needed.
- Community Tours: Provide tours to prospective residents and families when marketing or administrative personnel are unavailable.
- Clerical Tasks: Perform basic typing, filing, and other clerical duties as assigned.
- Training & Compliance: Complete all required training and attend in-service meetings.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of related experience or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Skills: Basic typing and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows and word processing applications.
